The Fountaingrove Club offers a variety of golf clubs and groups in which members can participate throughout the year. These fun and competitive groups make it easy to sharpen your game. They also offer a great environment in which to make new friends, build camaraderie with other members, and forge new professional relationships. Many of our golf clubs and groups hold events and tournaments throughout the year. Here, in no particular order, is a sampling of some of the clubs groups available currently.
The Men’s Club is the ultimate fraternity. The group comprises more than 150 members, and plays twice a week: Every Wednesday in a 1:00 p.m. shotgun, and every Saturday with tee times between 7:30 a.m. and noon. This club sponsors a Guest Day on the first Wednesday of every month. It also hosts the annual Men’s Invitational, held over three days in the middle of June.
The Fountaingrove Club is a member of the Bay Area Seniors Association (BASA), which is responsible for organizing and coordinating matches among all of the private clubs in the region. This allows our male members over the age of 50 to play at some of the nicest courses in Northern California; they average 12 tournaments a year. The group also creates the opportunity to host visiting clubs here at Fountaingrove.
This club is designed for busy executives who find it difficult to make time for golf between their work and family commitments. The group plays nine holes on Tuesday Evenings during the spring and summer months; play starts at 5:30 p.m., and is followed by dinner, drinks, and scoring. It is a great way for members to squeeze in some golf and network in a casual atmosphere. It’s also a lot of fun.
